I love exploring the everyday stories that that lie beneath glass bricks and opaque windows. My stories are of people at different stages of their lives; all are within touching distance of being happy, but just aren't quite there yet.
I love the idea of whispering stories in a reader's ear. With these three, I've tried to explore the idea of stories always existing below the surface of what seems apparent and self-evident. They might be forgotten people or the ghosts of long-ago trees, but when we blur our eyes they're still there, present the way the past is always present if we pay attention.

In my exploration of the lanes and back streets of the city I wanted to reveal the secrets held in the recesses of its shadows and stone. While there may be many stories of the city that we know and share with each other, many more remain secret and reveal themselves sparingly and occasionally, if at all.
